Notice under section 49 of the Consumer Protection Act
Please read this section carefully. It limits our liability and sets out risks you accept by using Sculpsit.
- Sculpsit is not a medical device, is not medical care and gives no medical advice. Use it as a personal practice tool. If you're struggling, talk to a professional.
- You use Sculpsit at your own risk. You are responsible for the acts you choose to do. Do not do anything that is unsafe, unlawful or unwise for you.
- If you want to stop a substance, talk to a doctor first. Stopping some substances suddenly, such as heavy drinking, can be dangerous.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage that comes from your use of Sculpsit, including loss of data. We are liable where the law does not allow us to exclude it, including for gross negligence or intentional harm.
- Your data lives on your phone and nowhere else. If you delete data, forget your PIN, lose or reset your phone, or uninstall the app, it is gone and we cannot restore it. Backups you saved elsewhere are not deleted.

Who may use Sculpsit
You must be 18 or older.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Sculpsit on your own devices. Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or remove protections from the app, except where the law lets you. The app, its text and design remain ours or our licensors'. The statue art is credited in the app, under About.
Free and paid
The private pause, your plan, your first target, the quick log, the counter, the helplines, the PIN, backup and export, erase, reminders and the daily act are free for good. The full statue, a single payment, adds the later statue stages, extra targets and monthly inscriptions. What is free and what is paid may change in future versions. A statue frame you have already revealed stays revealed.
The one payment
- The full statue is one payment. There is no subscription, no trial and no renewal.
- The price is shown in rand by Google Play before you confirm.
- Google Play processes the payment. We never see your card details.
- "Lifetime" means the life of the product, not the life of the buyer. If the app is ever withdrawn, your installed copy keeps working and your backup export stays yours.
- You can restore the purchase on a new phone with the same Google account, using Restore in the app.
Refunds and cooling-off
Google refunds automatically within 48 hours of purchase. Within 7 days of purchase you can also email lohan2004pieterse@gmail.com for a refund, no reasons needed, and we will ask Google Play to refund the order. Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Consumer Protection Act give you rights too, and nothing here limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version goes on this page with a new effective date. A material change takes effect only after we give notice in the app or on this page.
Governing law
The laws of the Republic of South Africa apply to these terms. Disputes go to the South African courts, and you may also use the National Consumer Commission or the consumer tribunals where they apply.
